Post-study planning

Today is such a historical day for me. For the first time in my life, I have submitted an official resume and application for my graduate job! Thanks to United Kingdom Executive Council, UKEC (macam malaysia student council) for forwarding the email through facebook. There's a good thing about facebook - they deliver important message, not just for social networking purpose only. Though its quite early to send my application, but hey, think forward. Hopefully it's the first of many to come. God willing.

P/s: Countdown to life-after-graduate: 39 weeks and 1 day. The mind always wonder how my life would end-up after I've graduated.

Long distance relationship

Honestly speaking, I have been involved in some occasions where I communicate in a very long distance in between. It's hard enough to make local relationships work, but having miles, and sometimes even an ocean between you makes it even more difficult. However, successful long distance relationships can and do exist. It will survive as long as you are willing to work it out. In what of I do believe is, it is not the distance that separate between two peoples, but it is just that sometimes people need to have their time of their own. Well not a very long time, but a time of which a person will realise it's enough to make them feel missing of someone. I'm a normal human being and I do miss someone. In fact, I do miss that someone so much, I will think of her on every hour of my day. What she's been doing, how's her work, what she had for breakfast, how's her exam preparation going on and etc. Thousands of thank you's to YM, Skype, Facebook, Twitter because they simply make our life seems closer to each other - well at least in a virtual world. It's a total new experience for me and so far I'm enjoying it very much. What I can conclude for long distance relationship is, I could have time of my own, and a person who I can share my life with and simply makes my everyday life be more meaningful. What I meant of a meaningful life is a life less dramatic. I have had enough of dramas in my life. Let me tell you guys, dramas are only meant for TV shows, not to be performed in real life. All I want to have is just an ordinary, warm and lovable life. The word is happy. You can define happy for everything you want, but for me, happy is a life where you don't have to be worry of anything but just enjoying your life as what it is. I am happy. So guys, long distance relationship is all about a balanced relationship between partners; a relationship built on strong foundations of trust, understanding and determination to make it work. The two partners should be reasonable about their expectations and willing to cooperate so that this relationship can lead to a happy ending. Always bear in mind, a long distance relationship is not meant to be forever, it is just for a temporary time and there is a relationship where there is no distance between two lovers at the end of the day, if you know what I mean. ;)

Football is all around!

Went to Sheffield United's home ground, The Bramall Lane Stadium with friends to watch they play against Cardiff City. Okay, the truth is that our university union had some student offers for the tickets and we only bought it for 5pounds. Hehe. Tiket murah, baru nak pegi kan? The game was very entertaining and we enjoyed some of the crowds chants and cheers for their team. Unlike in Malaysia typical stadium atmosphere, all you can hear is only: "Woi referee kayu, woi bodoh la nombor 3, tak reti main bola ke??" Total different. The game ended 4-3 and its totally worth it as we could see 7 goals in a game of a 5pounds ticket. Well actually it was 10 goals in the game but 3 of them were disallowed by the referee. I think that would be my last trip to the stadium before I'll be going back for good to Malaysia. After all, it was a marvellous experience. Here are some the pictures of the spectacular fully entertaining English Football Game!

Berlakon menjadi penyokong kuat Sheffield United.

Stadium penuh. Kat malaysia penuh time final je. Atau Man Utd datang main kat stadium Bukit Jalil.

Pokcik2 omputeh pun nak amek gambar dgn kitorg...well,famous la katakan.

Awas polis berkuda.Ini bukan seperti tunjuk perasaan tipikal di Malaysia.Ini hanyalah sebuah perlawanan bola sepak.

Raya pics everywhere

A bit late to upload raya pics on my blog, but takpelah. After 3 years celebrating raya in lectures theatre, I finally experienced first hand the real experience of "balik kampung, duit raya, barbeque raya and main mercun". Eventhough just for 3 days in kampung, I think its more than enough for me. There's no way you can beat beraya in malaysia. For those who celebrated raya in overseas, I pity you hahahaha. For the complete raya album, click here.

Oh no.

The title itself shows my real feeling of being in university again. Oh no, life as a student has officially started. A bit busy since the first day I landed at Manchester International Airport a week ago and here am I updating my long-lost-blogging friend. Nothing really bother me much but as usual it will take some time to get settle in a new different life. There are not much different here, all buildings look the same, the people, and the weather. It is still autumn season and its quite chill during the night time. Anyway I've got some new housemates and they are all very friendly to us. I would say they will be my "bibik" for the rest 9 months I'm staying here hahaha. Today I'm going to start my very first academic research on the internet. Oh brain, please do function at the very best condition tonight. Though it has been long long time I haven't use you for good things, I hope you will start to produce intelligent biochemical liquid in it so that I would be more productive starting from today. So my first task, to find some information about my final year project. I'm going to design a high performance electric motorcycle to use in a Green Race. Sounds awesome isn't it? Haha. Okay lets get things done!
